Certificate in Asbestos Awareness

• Do you own residential or commercial property that you let?
• Do you view, inspect or survey property?
• Do you manage buildings on behalf of your clients?
• Do you organise the maintenance of dwellings and/or commercial buildings?
• Are you an electrician, heating engineer, plumber or general maintenance worker?
• Do you employ any of the above people?

If you have answered "YES" to any of the above, then you should attend an Asbestos Awareness Training Course. In October 2006, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) revised the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR 2006) and regulation 10 states:

"Every employer shall ensure that adequate information, instruction and training is given to those employees... who are liable to be exposed to asbestos, or who supervise such employees..."
