SP Module One – Assessing solid fuel heating appliances
This module looks at the use of solid fuel heating appliances because the number of newly installed open fires, wood burning stoves and 'biomass' room heaters has increased dramatically. Consequently, surveyors need to be aware of the general regulations and requirements that govern the installation and maintenance of these appliances and are able to spot some of the most obvious problems.
